Foundation for Islamic Teaching for Youth and Adults
Building tomorrow's leaders through faith, knowledge, and action
FITYA (Foundation for Islamic Teaching for Youth and Adults) was established with a vision to nurture a pioneering generation of Muslim youth who are deeply rooted in their faith, confident in their identity, and ready to make a positive impact on their communities.
Founded by a group of dedicated educators, scholars, and community leaders who recognized the unique challenges facing Muslim youth in the UK, FITYA began as a small initiative providing weekend Islamic classes and has grown into a comprehensive youth development organization serving hundreds of young people across Bolton and Greater Manchester.
Our journey has been marked by continuous growth and innovation. From humble beginnings hosting summer camps and study circles, we've expanded to offer year-round programs that address every aspect of youth development - spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social.
Today, FITYA stands as a beacon of hope for Muslim families seeking authentic Islamic education combined with modern skills development for their children. Our commitment to excellence and our holistic approach have made us a trusted partner for parents and a second home for youth.
To cultivate a pioneering generation guided by Divine Revelation, grounded in ethics and knowledge, confident in identity, responsible in action, and influential within their communities and beyond.
